House Keeping
Willowwood Lodge on the Lower Greenbrier River
Welcome to the “River House.” We hope you enjoy your stay. We have listed some information about the house and some helpful tips to make your visit more convenient. Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
There are four thermostats for each "wing" of the house up and downstairs. Please make sure all thermostats are in the "off" position when you leave the house.
House is on well water and septic. Our well water undergoes significant filtering and is therefore VERY soft. Please keep in mind when using soap and detergent. Less is more.
Water for drinking/cooking is from the copper spigot at the kitchen sink. It goes through an additional reverse osmosis system and is therefore completely pure. No need for bottled water. It is also plumbed to the refrigerator for the ice and water dispenser.
Kitchen is fully equipped. Coffee and tea items, including a coffee bean grinder are located in the corner cabinet next to the coffee maker.
Laundry facilities are fully operational. Just remember to use less detergent in a load of clothes due to the water softness.
The hot tub is not operational at this time. Please do not uncover or fill.
Kayaks and paddles are in the storage room under the backside of the house at ground level. Life jackets in various sizes are hanging in the laundry room. Fishing poles available for community use are hanging from the ceiling in the laundry room.
There are several entrances to the house from the front, back and side. Please make sure all doors are locked prior to leaving the house.
Please make sure to use ONLY
the keypad. DO NOT lock the small
doorhandle below the keypad.
